NBA Suspends Season Following Positive Coronavirus Test

Utah’s Rudy Gobert has tested positive for coronavirus. Gobert and the Jazz were playing at Oklahoma City tonight, but the game was cancelled prior to tip-off.

Gobert initially tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result the NBA is suspending its season until further notice:

Oklahoma City has played 9 teams in the last two weeks. It’s possible that Gobert could have been unknowingly spreading the virus around the league.

The Thunder and Jazz are currently being quarantined in their locker rooms:

The two teams came out to warm up tonight, but were sent to the locker rooms and fans were told the game was cancelled.
