NBA Draft pushed back again, expected to move to mid-November

After the NBA and NBPA agreed on Tuesday to push back key dates such as the NBA Draft on Oct. 16, the start of free agency on Oct. 18, and the opening of the 2020-21 season, a new target timeframe has emerged for the 2020 draft.

According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the NBA Draft is now expected to take place in the middle of November, with teams still pushing for “some sort of NBA Combine.”

Multiple team executives told me this past week they expect the NBA draft to take place in the middle of November.
