Nate Sestina to begin pro career in Russia, per report

Despite the NBA Draft being postponed to the fall, one former Wildcat has decided to start his pro career overseas.

Sportando reports that Nate Sestina has agreed to a deal with Russian team Nizhny Novgorod of the Basketball Champions League and VTB League.

Sestina started his college career at Bucknell, where he earned All-Patriot League honors during the 2018-19 season after averaging 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

As a graduate transfer at Kentucky, last season, Sestina averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting an impressive 40.
