Multiple Kentucky track and field stars win medals at World Athletics Championships

Six Kentucky track & field alumni plus one volunteer coach are all competing at the 2023 World Athletics Championships at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary. The event runs until Sunday. Some former Wildcats will be bringing home some hardware.

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (silver) and Keni Harrison (bronze) each claimed medals. Volunteer coach Devynne Charlton recorded a fourth-place finish.

Daniel Roberts (110m hurdles, USA), Micaela Hazelwood (discuss throw, USA), Alexis Holmes (4×400 relay pool), and Masai Russell (100m hurdles, USA) were Kentucky athletes who also competed in the event.
