Congrats to former University of Kentucky star player Valerie Still, who was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame at a ceremony this weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Still, who played from 1979-83, is UK's all-time leader in points (2,763) and rebounds (1,525) for any player, male or female.
“It’s strange to have so many people remembering things I did 30 and 40 years ago,” Still told the Lexington Herald-Leader. “I had this interview with a TV station and they were talking about me averaging a double-double. For a long time I didn’t even know that.
