Add the Pioneer Football League, which includes Morehead State, to the growing list of conferences opting out of the 2020 season. This morning, the PFL’s Presidents Council announced that the conference will not compete this fall due to challenges related to team travel and difficulties meeting applicable state, local and institutional health requirements and COVID-19 mitigation strategies. Members of the PFL include Morehead State, Butler, Davidson, Dayton, Drake, Marist, San Diego, Stetson, Valparaiso, and, starting in 2021, Presbyterian and St. Thomas.
