He knew he had something special in Boom Williams all along.
When asked about his expectations for Boom Williams when Boom was signed to the 2014 recruiting class, Stoops said he always knew Boom was special.
“We really knew we had something special with Boom all along,” said Stoops. “He’s a guy that fits very well with the offense and would fit really well in any offense, quite frankly.
