Not even Lexington rain could dampen the philanthropic spirits at Coach Calipari's Celebrity Softball Classic yesterday. In addition to holding the game itself, the proceeds of which will all go to Louisiana flood relief, Calipari also provided a number of Kentuckians with hearing aids, alongside the Starkey Foundation.
From what I could tell on Twitter, KAT won the Home Run Derby, UK baseball coach Nick Mingione hit a long home run during the game, and Team Towns bested Team Calipari 18-12.
