Mississippi State pulled off an exciting 24-22 win over Ole Miss in the battle for the Golden Egg (aka The Egg Bowl) last night.
The Rebels scored a late touchdown to make it 24-22 but their two-point conversion, an inside shovel pass, failed. Unfortunately, Lane Kiffin and company used two timeouts to draw up the conversion play, which left them with no hope after its failure.
After the game, State trolled Kiffin on Twitter:
Ouch. That reply, of course, was directed at Kiffin’s troll job on a local reporter earlier in the week.
