LEXINGTON, Ky. — John Cohen laughed as if he anticipated the question.
The Mississippi State athletics director on Sunday declined to discuss specifics about the hiring process for the Bulldogs' next baseball coach and the likelihood Kentucky coach Nick Mingione will be a candidate.
"We're in the background stages of doing our search right now," Cohen said. "We're going to come up with an incredible coach to run this program. I'll tell you what: Kentucky has a big-time baseball coach in Nick Mingione.
