Kentucky is riding its second three-game winning streak of the season, but Davion Mintz and Olivier Sarr agree that this time around, something’s different. Today, both players told reporters that the team’s energy coming off wins over Auburn, Vanderbilt and No. 19 Tennessee is on another level compared to when the Cats beat Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Florida to start SEC play.
“I was talking to Keion [Brooks] and Olivier [Sarr] yesterday and it just seems like there’s a different type of feel out there now,” Mintz said. “A few games ago, I think we went on a little stretch and during that time, it was like, okay, we were winning those games but something still feels off.
