Minor Injuries Pile Up in First Two Days of UK Football Practice

After a pair of practices the Cats are already “banged up” on the edges. The two most noticeable omissions from Saturday’s UK Fan Day open practice were wide receiver Isaiah Epps and cornerback Brandin Echols. The projected starters were sidelined with undisclosed leg injuries.

After Epps went down Friday, Stoops was encouraged to see Bryce Oliver answer the call. As for Echols, it appears to be a lingering issue. The JUCO cornerback can practice sparingly, but they will act out of an abundance of caution to ensure he’s prepared to play August 31.

The other unfortunate absence from practice was Keaton Upshaw.
