Kentucky’s recruiting success in the state of Michigan continues.
Monday afternoon Maxwell Hairston announced his commitment to the University of Kentucky, choosing the Wildcats over Minnesota, Purdue, Kansas and Virginia Tech, among others.

The best part of his announcement? Thirty minutes prior he let Minnesota and Purdue fans get their hopes up by posting this to his Instagram story.
Hailing from the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield, he’s the first player from the Great Lakes State to join UK’s 2021 recruiting class.
