Max Duffy is taking his boomstick to Mile High.
Mike Klis reports the former UK punter has signed with the Denver Broncos. Duffy was spotted wearing Tim Tebow’s old No. 15 at Denver’s OTAs.
A former Australian Rules Football player, Duffy starred for the Wildcats during his three seasons in Lexington. Once jokingly referred to as ‘Punter U,’ all jokes were set aside when he became the program’s first Ray Guy Award Winner in 2019.
Despite being one of the top-rated punters available, Duffy went undrafted in April. That could have been a blessing in disguise.
