The secret’s out: Matt Haarms will announce his decision tomorrow, according to Jon Rothstein. The Purdue grad transfer is down to Kentucky, Texas Tech, and BYU, and will be eligible immediately.
As a junior last season at Purdue, the 7’3″ big man from Amsterdam averaged 8.6 points on 52.4% shooting, to go with 4.6 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks a game just a year after averaging 9.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Per 40 minutes, Haarms averaged 16.7 points (52.4% FG, 63.4% FT), 8.9 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks per contest.
