Kentucky needs big men, and Matt Haarms just became one of the best available this offseason.
On Monday, Haarms announced he would be leaving Purdue as a graduate transfer, instantly making him one of the top players available in college basketball, whether it be high school recruits or college transfers.
The 7-3, 250-pound Haarms played an instrumental role on the 2018-19 Purdue squad that nearly made the Final Four if not for a miracle finish in regulation by Virginia, who ultimately won in overtime en route to winning the national championship. Haarms averaged 9.4 points, 5.
