Despite a career night for redshirt freshman Chris Rodriguez and another impressive outing for fellow redshirt freshman Kavosiey Smoke, Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops said junior running back AJ Rose will remain as the team’s starter moving forward.
“He’ll be fine, he’ll be fine,” Stoops said. “You have to be able to handle that kind of adversity. He’ll back in there next week. He’ll be the starting running back, he’ll be in on the first snap of the game offensively. He needs to get back at it. We have a lot of confidence in him, he’ll be all right.
