Mark Stoops: Lynn Bowden “truly remarkable in so many ways”

There are no words for what Lynn Bowden means to this Kentucky Football team. If filling in at quarterback wasn’t enough for the all-purpose threat, he went ahead and blocked for Kavosiey Smoke today, for goodness’ sake.

Bowden had 284 rushing yards and four touchdowns vs. Louisville, despite rolling his ankle in the second half. Not only are those 284 rushing yards the most ever by a quarterback in SEC history, Bowden is now the only player in the SEC to have two 200-yard rushing games this year. In a season Kentucky’s had more than its fair share of adversity, Bowden has emerged as the program’s latest legend.
