Football is the last sport that is relatively untouched by the coronavirus pandemic. Even though the NFL and college football regular seasons have not yet been altered, many fear that could be on the way, including Mark Stoops.
Spring practices and spring games across the country have been postponed, effectively canceling the events. The most prominent voice in all of college football, Kirk Herbstreit, believes this could be just the beginning.
“I’ll be shocked if we have NFL football this fall, if we have college football. I’ll be so surprised if that happens,” Herbstreit said on ESPN Radio Thursday night.
