Mark Stoops gives brief update on Terry Wilson

An absolutely disgusting horse-collar tackle led to Kentucky sophomore quarterback Terry Wilson having to be carted off the field Saturday night vs. Eastern Michigan. Although his Wildcats won the game, Wilson will likely be out for the foreseeable future.

After the game, head coach Mark Stoops gave a brief update on Wilson, confirming it was a left knee injury and saying “it doesn’t look good.” Stoops added that Wilson will have an MRI on Sunday, so we should know fairly soon how serious the injury is.

During the postgame handshakes, it appeared Stoops said “my guy is out for the year,” likely in regards to Wilson, but it’s not 100% clear.
