LEXINGTON, Ky. — Following the decommitment of four-star quarterback Jarren Williams, UK coach Mark Stoops acknowledged Monday there are some unique factors when recruiting quarterbacks in particular.
NCAA rules prohibit Stoops from specifically addressing Williams since he is an unsigned recruit, but he spoke in generalities about the position.
"A lot of times you develop that relationship early and you get honed in with a certain guy," Stoops said Monday.
