Kelvin Joseph sent shockwaves across the Big Blue Nation when the former top 50 recruit surprisingly enrolled at the University of Kentucky on Tuesday. Mark Stoops described how it happened in a discussion with Matt Jones on Kentucky Sports Radio.
“It happened very quickly; got him here, got him enrolled. He’s part of our team now, part of our program and we’re looking forward to him being here. Obviously he can’t play till next year but he’s one heck of a football player,” said Stoops.
How good is Joseph? The former Army All-American was the fifth-ranked cornerback in his class and played as a true freshman at LSU.
