Mark Pope indicated on his weekly radio tonight that he is ready to tear things down and build them back following a disappointing 5-4 start to the season.
“I love this group,” Pope said. “I think that when it’s all said and done, this group is going to accomplish great things. But, man, it’s hard right now, and we’re reconsidering everything.”
Pope talked about the aftermath of Friday’s loss to Gonzaga, noting that the team has an intense practice today.
“Whenever a project is going poorly, you kind of have to go back and strip it bare and get back to core principles that you know that you believe in,” Pope said.
