The recruiting period began at midnight last night and Mark Pope hit the ground running with five-star recruit Tay Kinney.
Pope, as well as Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey, both visited Kinney in the early morning hours after the clock struck midnight.
Kentucky and Louisville are thought to be the two leaders for Kinney.
