Mark Pope has an update on Jaland Lowe‘s shoulder injury.
During his press conference on Thursday afternoon, Pope was asked about Lowe’s status ahead of Friday’s exhibition against top-ranked Purdue. Lowe was injured during last Friday’s Blue-White Game scrimmage inside Memorial Coliseum.
By the sounds of it, Lowe won’t be ready to play against the Boilermakers, but he’s not too far out from returning.
“Doing good. (Lowe’s) recovery has been epically fast. He’s feeling really good,” Pope said. “He was back shooting yesterday, full speed. We’ll probably keep him out of live contact for at least another week, just to make sure.
