Mark Pope sat down with the media last night following Kentucky’s 72-60 win over Indiana.
“A ton of love for BBN for showing out tonight,” Pope said in his opening statement. “They were just unbelievable in the gym and so grateful, we never take it for granted how undying, loyal and faithful and hanging in there with us. BBN is just the greatest fan base in the world.”
Pope again answered a question about a critical social media post by former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins.
“I don’t shy away from the truth, even when it hurts,” Pope said.
