All-Big Ten point guard Marcus Carr is coming back to college and he has four schools on his list of possible destinations (none of them Minnesota, his old school… sorry, Minnesota). The University of Kentucky would’ve been in the conversation a couple of months ago before John Calipari filled his roster with six guards, but Kentucky can’t be one of Carr’s finalists now, right?
Wrong. According to both Jon Rothstein and Jeff Borzello, Carr is looking to Kansas, Louisville, Texas and Kentucky for his final season of college basketball. One of the best guards in the country a year ago, Carr averaged 19.
