One of the top transfers of the offseason will be wearing burnt orange next season.
On Saturday, Minnesota transfer Marcus Carr announced on Instagram that the redshirt senior will spend the 2021-22 season playing for Chris Beard at Texas.

A former three-star recruit in the class of 2017, the Canadian played his high school ball at Montverde Academy in Florida. After spending one season at Pittsburgh, Carr transferred to Minnesota to play for Richard Pitino in the Big Ten. Carr earned third-team All-Big Ten honors his first season with the Golden Gophers in 2019-20 while setting a school record for assists (207).
