The Magoffin County Hornets have won their region and advanced to the KHSAA Boys Sweet 16 for the first time in their 100-year history.
The Hornets (21-13) defeated Martin County 67-57 earlier tonight to make history.
Magoffin County was led by senior star Aden Barnett’s 33 points in the win. Barnett is averaging 29.3 points per game on the season.
