Like every NFL team, the Miami Dolphins had to trim their roster to 80 players by 4 pm ET today.
Unfortunately, one of the moves Miami made to get there was putting former Kentucky Wildcats star Lynn Bowden Jr. on injured reserve, which will likely keep him out all of 2021.
There’s a small possibility that he could play this season, which Dolphins beat reporter Barry Jackson outlined. That said, the Dolphins would have to reach an injury agreement, waive him, hope another team doesn’t claim him, then re-sign him, which seems likely an unlikely scenario.
