Heads up for those of you planning to buy a Lynn Bowden Raiders jersey: it will have a 33 on it. Bowden tweeted tonight that he is switching to the No. 33, which goes in line with Raiders General Manager Mike Maylock’s comments that they plan on using him at running back initially.
“Ultimately, he’ll probably be what we call a joker — which I love in Jon [Gruden]’s offense — it’s somebody that’s able to do multiple jobs. But day one, he’s going to come in and be a running back. In the SEC two years ago, he caught 60-70 passes as a slot.
