Bowden is one of 44 players just named to the 2019 Paul Hornung Award Watch List, which is annually is given to college football’s most versatile player. He was previously named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List for college football’s most outstanding receiver.
Bowden, a junior from Youngstown (OH), led the Wildcats in catches (67), receiving yards (745) and touchdown receptions (five) in 2018. He recorded the most catches in a season by a UK receiver since current Randall Cobb grabbed 84 in 2010.
Bowden enters the 2019 season 45 receiving yards shy of becoming the 30th player in school history to reach 1,000 for his career.
