Lynn Bowden leads Kentucky to fifth straight win over Missouri

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: on a night Kentucky really needed a win, Lynn Bowden made it happen. With the skies opening on Kroger Field, Kentucky’s wide receiver/kick returner played quarterback again, leading the Cats to their fifth straight win over Missouri, 29-7. Now 4-4 on the season, Kentucky is now one big step closer to bowl eligibility.

After a lackluster first quarter, Kentucky went on a scoring spree in the second. Kavosiey Smoke got the Cats on the board with a one-yard touchdown run, and six minutes later, AJ Rose followed suit with a 20-yard scoring scamp of his own.
