Rising junior guard Ja’Vonte Smart and All-SEC freshman Trendon Watford will both return to LSU for the 2020-21 season. Smart shared the news on Twitter while a source informed Adam Zagoria of Watford’s intentions. Earlier today, Darius Days also announced he was withdrawing his name from the draft to return to Baton Rouge for his junior year.
Last season, Smart averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game; Watford 13.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game; and Days 11.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Emmitt Williams is the only LSU Tiger to keep his name in the draft.
