Remember the Benny Snell ejection fiasco back at the Music City Bowl in 2017?
A Louisville player was on the receiving end of another one on Monday afternoon.
Midway through the first half of UofL’s matchup against Mississippi State in Nashville, MSU tight end Geor’quarius Spivey landed on Cardinal linebacker Dorian Etheridge’s leg mid-play and failed to ease up as the play developed.
When Etheridge tried kicking Spivey off of him, the PAC-12 refs – ironically the same conference that ejected Snell back in 2017 – decided to throw the Cardinal linebacker out of the game.
