Louisville still doesn’t have a Quarterback

After eleven games of the 2018 season, Louisville still hasn’t found a quarterback.

Last Saturday against N.C. State, interim head coach Lorenzo Ward gave Malik Cunningham his second start of the season. Cunningham received the honor after Lamar Jackson’s heir apparent, Jawon “Puma” Pass, was suspended for the first quarter for missing a team obligation.

Cunningham, UofL’s scrambling option, had 100-yards rushing and 90 passing yards on 8-of-14 attempts before a hand injury sidelined him in the fourth quarter. Pass finished the game with five completions for 67 yards.

Ward said Cunningham will be available to play on Saturday, but the coaching staff will not choose a starting quarterback until later in the week.
