Louisville star running back Javian Hawkins has opted out of the remainder of the 2020 college football season and will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
After missing UofL’s matchup against Virginia this past weekend, Hawkins announced this morning that his time as a Cardinal was over.
“After much prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided to opt out of the remaining 2020 season and begin preparation for the 2021 NFL Draft,” the Louisville star said in a statement. “Over the next few months, I will be finishing my semester at Louisville, while also preparing for the draft.
