The Louisville Men’s Basketball Team is pausing all team-related activities indefinitely after a positive COVID-19 test result came from within the program, according to a statement sent out by the University and UofL Vice-President/Director of Athletics Vince Tyra. Due to the pause, Louisville’s game scheduled for Dec. 4 against UNC Greensboro has been canceled. The announcement of the decision came late Thursday night.

Louisville is hardly the first team to put a halt on basketball activities due to COVID reasons and they surely won’t be the last.
