After Will Muschamp was canned from South Carolina after a less-than-stellar tenure in Columbia, the Gamecocks are looking for a new head man to take over the program? One name that is interviewing for the opening position? Louisville Cardinals head coach Scott Satterfield.
The Athletic is reporting that Satterfield is among the candidates for the Gamecocks’ head coaching position, and plan to interview Satterfield soon, but not before this Thursday. South Carolina has already had an interview with Coastal Carolina head coach Jamey Chadwell, and also has an interview scheduled with Oklahoma assistant coach Shane Beamer.
