UK Athletics’ favorite lovebirds are leaving their nest in Lexington and taking the next step in their careers, but they couldn’t leave without wearing Kentucky across their chests one final time.
This past weekend, former UK stars Nick Richards and Leah Edmond of the men’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams, respectively, took part in a final photoshoot sporting their Kentucky jerseys.
“Last time putting our jerseys on might as well have a photo shoot,” Edmond said in a Facebook post.

This past year at Kentucky, Richards managed a breakout junior campaign in which he became one of the best frontcourt players in all of college basketball.
