Former Kentucky defensive back Lonnie Johnson Jr. continues to make a difference both on and off the football field.
Last week, Johnson reached out to Andrew, a five-year-old boy in the hospital currently fighting stage three Burkett Lymphoma, and invited him to a Houston Texans game this season.
“What’s up Andrew? This is Lonnie Johnson with the Houston Texans,” he said in a video on Twitter. “I heard you’re a big football fan, and I’m a big fan of yours. I just want you to know that I’m rooting for you. I hope you go finish up treatment so we can get you to a Houston Texans game.
