Say what you will about John Calipari, but he’s a man of his word. Earlier this week, Kentucky’s basketball coach made a little wager with Auburn alum Charles Barkley on TNT. Both men were confident “their” football programs would win on Saturday, and Calipari even bet his beard on it.
“Charles, I’ll shave this beard if Auburn wins,” Calipari told Barkley last Tuesday.
“I’ve never grown a beard because I think America deserves to see the money maker.”
