Will Stein has been the head football coach of the Kentucky Wildcats for less than 48 hours. This morning, he will sign his first recruiting class on National Signing Day.
Okay, let’s be real. This isn’t Stein’s recruiting class. The last time the Kentucky football program conducted a coaching search, Mark Stoops had two months to assemble a recruiting class, not two days.
The hay has been in the barn for most of these recruits for a while. It will be interesting to see if they all stay in the fold — whether based on their decision or the new coach’s — as Stein begins the very early stages of roster-building.
