On the first day official of his career as a Kentucky Wildcat, Mike Drennen made a splash.
Shortly after submitting his National Letter of Intent, the Kentucky-bound athlete explained to Matt Jones on Kentucky Sports Radio why chose UK over USC, Florida and Michigan.
“I’ve been coming to Kentucky since I was 13-years old,” Drennen said. “Me and Coach Marrow, Coach Gran, Coach Stoops, we all have a great relationship. They’ve seen me get hurt throughout my five years, since I’ve known them for five years. They’ve seen me get hurt and they’ve had five years to come up with a plan for me and they stuck with it.
