The state of Kentucky’s highest-ranked football recruit was kind enough to join Ryan Lemond and Drew Franklin for Friday’s edition of Kentucky Sports Radio. Standing outside of the press box at Frederick Douglass High School, Jager Burton was excited to talk football following a workout on the field.
Currently preparing to compete for a Kentucky 5A State Championship this fall, if the KHSAA does give football the green light in late August, Burton will be ready to make a college decision before the season kicks off.
“If we end up having a season, I’m going to try to speed that up as much as possible, really sit down with my family and try to figure that out,” Burton said.
