“Auburn Arena turns blue bloods into bedwetters.”

That’s how one article, written by Joseph Goodman and published on Al.com, describes the scene on the Plains Saturday night.

Auburn hasn’t lost a home game since last February, and the atmosphere Kentucky saw Saturday night is a big reason why. In the article, Auburn’s arena is referred to as a “showcase of sound and a Picasso of pure fun” and “the cathedral of college basketball crazy.” Later, it’s “a slump buster,” “a pressure cooker” and “steroids for the soul.” The arena was crazy Saturday night, of course – Kentucky is everyone’s Super Bowl after all, and the Auburn fans certainly packed their 9,121-seat venue to the brim for the chance to watch the upset.
