After 20-plus years, the Lexington Legends have undergone a complete rebrand.
On Monday morning, Lexington’s most popular professional baseball franchise announced a name change. Moving forward, the Lexington Legends will now be known as the Lexington Counter Clocks. The new name, according to a press release sent out by the team, “pays homage to Kentucky’s historic spirit of independence.”
Still confused? Us too. But the Counter Clocks’ name does have a deeper meaning. And yes, it has to do with horses.
