As expected, Kyle Wiltjer didn't hear his named called during the 2016 NBA Draft, but he still ended up on an NBA team by night's end.
The former Gonzaga All-American and Kentucky Wildcats champion reached a deal with the Houston Rockets Thursday night. It turns out it's a three-year contract, and 50% of the first-year salary guaranteed, according to KREM 2.
Nothing but joy in the Wiltjer house so hyped right now! Thank you @HoustonRockets for the opportunity https://t.co/mnefXed9lq

Wildcats fans will remember Wiltjer for helping UK win the program's eighth national title in 2012.
