Tandy committed to Xavier on Tuesday, choosing the Cincinnati school over Ole Miss. Tandy is the third-ranked player in the state of Kentucky going into his senior season at University Heights Academy and he announced via Twitter he will leave the state for college to be a Musketeer:

There was a time last spring when many UK fans, especially those in Western Kentucky, hoped Tandy would earn and accept an offer to stay home in the Bluegrass, but he never became a priority for Coach Cal’s staff.
