Round one of the Kentucky high school football playoffs is in the books. The Top 10 remains unchanged after the state’s best teams pummeled opponents by a combined score of 494-40. Elsewhere, No. 30 Spencer County defeated Shelby County in the Kroger KSR Game of the Week.
The competition will begin to heat up this Friday. Ranked matchups between Covington Catholic-Frederick Douglass, Male-St. Xavier, and Pulaski County-Woodford County are among the many games that highlight what should be an exciting evening of postseason football.
